Job Summary: Lead the delivery of small to medium scope project initiatives of moderate complexity assuring projects are completed within budget, on time and within contractual requirements. Oversees projects from planning and development, execution and closure. Utilizes company/industry project management methodologies and tools throughout project lifecycle. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretion and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages, oversees, monitors and approves all elements of assigned projects from inception to completion, including proposal and statement of work/requirements development, product design, subcontracting, testing, delivery, installation and acceptance of product releases.

  • Coordinates and directs team members representing various functional areas to ensure alignment and that the goals, business objectives, and requirements of projects are understood and agreed with project sponsors.

  • Manages scope, risk, and changes to deliver projects that meet quality, schedule, milestone, and budget commitments.

  • Point of contact for customer escalation, identifies and resolves issues working with appropriate parties to create mitigation plans. Communicates risks and issues to leadership in an actionable and timely manner.

  • Accountable for project metrics and tracks progress of deliverables to completion, prioritizes tasks and manages deadlines.

  • Creates and maintains detailed project schedules and work plans including resource assignments, project deliverables, and milestones.

  • Develops and distributes weekly and monthly status and performance reporting using meaningful metrics.

  • Contributes to a positive, collaborative working environment that instills respect, trust, quality and success as its core goals.

Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years, master's with 6 years, or PhD with 3 years of related experience in project management experience or experience in a project support function (scheduling, finance); equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.

  • Strong technical acumen and experience working with Mobile Applications and Agile development cycles preferred.

  • PMP certification is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated negotiation, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with proven experience in successfully managing and implementing multiple initiatives on behalf of business partners.

Cubic Pay Range:

$120,000.00 - $154,000.00 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
