Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here's how the Specialist, Supply Chain role will make an impact: Key responsibilities for this role include:
Assist in the procurement, schedule planning and inventory process. Analyze procurement reports and make recommendations for raw materials and components order placement to receipt at MTI followed by coordinating the incoming inspection priorities to support commercial and development activities. Assist with Schedule maintenance and communication of change impact to Supply Chain site group (bridge scheduling and planning) to include: SME in SAP and materials including raw, intermediate and finished. Review open process orders and communicate with owners to address status in SAP if required. Lot number assignment in schedule to reflect 90-day planning horizon. Maintain start dates in SAP to match schedule and reflect the 90-day planning horizon. Order materials from warehouse to plant to support production and analyze potential impact of forecast and production schedule changes on component procurement Material availability checks to support manufacturing readiness per plan. Provide timely communication to stakeholders on status of material shortages. Identify trends and present solutions for material issues. Daily usage of production schedule, review schedule to see what is running and how long it will be running. Remove and update schedule when jobs are complete. Develop an understanding of SAP Master Data and analyze procurement outputs for accuracy.Assist in the maintenance of SAP Master data. Verify material/component flow movement from warehouse to warehouse through SAP system. Assist in determining new policy/procedure within the inventory system to comply with cost accounting and finance request. Supports Controlled Drug Substance Group with inventory questions/ issues. Supports Purchasing specification development. Supports compilation and reconciliation of year end fiscal inventory. Supports raw material review activities including materials impacted by supplier change. Perform other duties as assigned. Work with Lead Planner to develop a production plan to meet product demand time lines. Work with various departments such as Maintenance, Engineering, Process Development, to schedule necessary production line down time and or projects. Assist to provide monthly Unit Volume reports to management. Perform material review of new raw materials. Obtain new product codes - work with required departments and systems (Change Control and Trackwise). Loading competed QF forms in to D2. Perform other duties as assigned.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Ability to read and write using the English language. Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence. Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, communication skills, time management skills and proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be able to build and maintain trusting relationships with employees.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $41,000.00 - $93,000.00 USD.
