Repair Service Technician

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Repair Services Technician to provide support through the management of repairable assets. Perform in-house service and repair of company assets as needed. Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures. Performs maintenance, testing and calibration of repaired products. Prepare reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues. May communicate with fab technicians for details helpful to failure diagnostics or repair.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.

* Perform necessary repairs, which may involve replacing parts, recalibrating systems, or performing rebuilds.

* Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.

* Maintain service records of all assets in the repair loop including records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage.

* Create and update documentation for services performed.

Basic Requirements

* Associate's degree in Automation, Electronics, HVAC or comparable field.

* 4+ years' experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.

* Strong knowledge and prior use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

* Understanding of instrumentation and controls, electrical components and systems, safety systems and electrical wiring diagrams.

* Prior knowledge of pneumatic systems and written schematics.

* Adaptable and strong initiative to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment and respond to operational changes.

* Attention to detail and ability to follow directions per specifications.

* Able to be Hazmat certified.

Preferred Requirements

* Previous experience working as a maintenance technician a plus.

* Experience working on pumps, chillers, or rebuilds preferred

• Full-time employees will be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses.

The estimated base hourly range for the position is $27 - $33 plus applicable shift differentials. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job-related experience, skills and level of the position.
