The Digital Marketing team is looking for a Web Developer Intern for kodak.com to improve the user experience and site functionality in support of marketing and sales objectives. The ideal candidate should be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a cross-functional team.
The intern's responsibilities will range from routine maintenance to building new web functionality. The intern will work closely with other technical resources to meet business needs while creating visually appealing pages that feature user-friendly designs.
This is a 40-hour per week position.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with ongoing website updates and QA testing
* Migrate web pages to upgraded templates
* Research, recommend, and apply improvements for SEO, page design and web functionality
* Build new features, enhance existing functionality and fix bugs
* Conduct competitive analysis and report on findings
Required Skills and Experience:
* Participating in or a graduate of a Digital Marketing, New Media Design/Development, Computer Science or related program
* Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
* Familiar with modern web frameworks (Vue JS, React, Angular, etc.)
* Experience working with a web CMS
* Capable of creating responsive design interfaces with a clean, visual design aesthetic
* Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
* Ability to perform quality assurance testing and apply solutions when problems are encountered
* Comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Willing to learn new technologies and skills

* Previous internship experience
* Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
* Experience with JamStack Framework (Nuxt, Next, Gatsby)
* Experience with Ajax (REST API, GraphQL)
* Familiar with versioning and repository use for programming (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.)
* Familiar with accessibility and compliance regulations (WCAG)
* Familiar with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, etc.)
