SALARY RANGE: $52,000 to $60,000

Position Summary:
The Research Project Coordinator will provide full-time administrative support to Dr. Huanmei Wu, overseeing the coordination, planning, execution, and reporting of her research portfolio at Temple University's College of Public Health. The role is primarily responsible for managing timelines, deliverables, communications, and administrative processes across multiple research initiatives and collaborations.
Required Education and Experience:
*Bachelor's degree in public health, health sciences, or a related field.
*Minimum 2-4 3 years of relevant experience working in an academic or public health research setting.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Education and Experience:
*Master's degree in public health or a related field.
Required Skills and Abilities:
*Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
*Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
*Proficiency in data analysis and basic statistical methods.
*Effective communication skills to collaborate within a multidisciplinary research team.
*Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
*Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
*Familiarity with IRB protocols, grant operation management, and implementation science processes.
*Comfortable engaging with technical teams and translating between research and community perspectives.
*Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
*Familiarity with university processes and federally funded research operations.
*Prior student mentorship experience.
*Strong understanding of Philadelphia's public health landscape, including prior collaboration with local community organizations.
Essential duties:
*Manage timelines, deliverables, and work plans across multiple concurrent projects.
*Coordinate team meetings, including scheduling, agendas, note-taking, and follow-up.
*Monitor deadlines, action items, and communications to ensure timely project execution.
*Maintain organized, accessible project documentation and shared digital files.
*Prepare and submit IRB applications, amendments, and continuing reviews.
*Plan and implement research activities, including participant recruitment, scheduling, facilitation (e.g., focus groups and surveys), data collection, and managing participant incentives.
*Liaise with internal and external collaborators, including technical partners and community-based organizations, in a professional, timely, and organized manner.
*Coordinate community engagement meetings to gather stakeholder input and support the translation of research findings into practice.
*Provide support to Dr. Wu's graduate students as needed to facilitate timely, high-quality student contributions.
*Performs other duties as assigned
This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
