Summary: The EHS Manager develops, implements, and manages environmental health and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe work environment. They conduct inspections, identify hazards, provide training, investigate incidents, and maintain related documentation. Key Responsibilities
Maintaining and implementing EHS programs, policies, and procedures to prevent workplace injuries, illnesses, and accidents and promote environmental stewardship in alignment with SKF Group EHS.
Ensuring adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Conducting regular workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and assess risks.
Identifying potential hazards, assessing risks, and recommending corrective actions to mitigate those risks.
Developing and delivering training programs to employees on safety regulations, proper handling of hazardous materials, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency preparedness.
Investigating incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventative measures.
Maintaining and updating safety data sheets (SDS), incident reports, safety training records, safety manuals, and other relevant documentation.
Developing and implementing emergency response plans and conducting drills to ensure employee preparedness.
Communicating effectively with management, employees, and regulatory agencies regarding EHS matters. Requirements:
