Solution Architect - Transportation and Mobility

Role and Position Responsibilities

• The Integrated Consulting and Services (IC&S) organization within DS is looking for a Solution Architect to support and represent NAM Transport and Mobility (T&M) customers' needs.

• The role will focus on assess customer business process, align DS 3DEXPERIENCE solutions, and develop materials to explain solutions, demonstrate and prove the value of 3DS solutions to our clients through technical expertise.

• Provide technical support and advise customer engagement teams on technical solutions, leveraging 3DEXPERIENCE platform capabilities and Transport and Mobility Industry process knowledge. Contribute to the identification and qualification of opportunities and help establish a technical win plan for its customers.

• Demonstrate leadership and propose change recommendations to clients based on understanding of client business processes, their IT environments and knowledge of the 3DS portfolio of solutions.

• Provide technical direction and leadership for sales engagement such as RFP response, proof of technology and proof of concepts. Engage and support other 3DS expert for developing a compelling technical and deployment proposal.

• Lead the technical strategy and solution architecture design with a clear understanding of the potential scope to address client's business requirements.

• Contribute to customer satisfaction, by helping the 3DS support team with strategic customers. Assist with escalations, critical situation and enhancement requests.

• Lead pre-sales consulting engagements with potential clients by acting as trusted advisor and product advocate to effectively communicate the value of Dassault Systemes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform and support achievement of sales targets.

• Understand and document customer's existing business landscape including, business goals, requirements, processes and application architecture.

• Develop product demonstrations leveraging 3DEXPERIENCE Platform solutions tailored to address customer business requirements and providing a vision for digital transformation.

• Engineer solution by promoting cloud first from Dassault Systemes considering the market trends

• Define Integrated Solution architecture leveraging 3DEXPERINECE Platformthat align with customer's business needs and convey the differentiating value of 3DEXPERIENCE platform

• Respond to Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) with technical answers, demonstrations and product licensing information.

• Support technical evaluations or Proof of Concepts with customer's business and IT users to establish alignment with their business requirements.

• Facilitate a clear transition to implementation by clear documentation of customer's TO-BE application and functional architecture and use cases.

• Interface with product management teams to provide feedback from customer engagements for product improvements.

• Stay aligned on the engagement status with customer and sales management to maintain a clear line of communication for sales forecast and to secure help needed.

• Develop strong relationship with customer and technical leaders and drive Sales strategy and revenue objectives.

Qualifications

* Minimum experience of 8-10 years in the field of pre-sales solution consulting with PLM applications.

* Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in the field of Mechanical or Production Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering or related fields.

* Education course work including any of the following fields would be preferred - Data science and Artificial Intelligence; Big data management; Engineering statistics.

* Professional skills preferred include customer relationship management and technical experience within these domains: Engineering Design and Bill of Materials Management, Enterprise Change Management, Product Variant and Configuration Management, Digital Mockup Review, Design to Manufacturing continuity, PLM Business Analytics.

* Technical skills preferred include experience with a PLM application, ability to configure and customize it to meet specific business needs, skills in administration including user management, knowledge of integration with other enterprise systems and an understanding of data migration approaches.

* Ability to understand client's business requirements / processes and address them through technical demonstrations, evaluations and proof of concepts highlighting product value and differentiation.

* Soft skills required include excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and strong problem-solving ability.

* Willingness to travel to client locations and for internal strategy and planning meetings.

• Note: Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $184,600K and $220,000K, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus
