An Inpatient Rehab. Facility Conformity amp; Compliance Team Lead (CC Team Leader) is a licensed professional (physical therapists, occupational therapist, speech language pathologist) who, in addition to rehabilitation team member responsibilities, leads regulatory initiatives relating to compliance with inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) standards including but not limited to CMS, CARF and The Joint Commission. The Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Conformity amp; Compliance Team Leader promotes an ongoing relationship with key stakeholders to achieve compliance and conformity with regulatory initiatives relating to compliance with inpatient rehabilitation hospital standards including but not limited to CMS, CARF and The Joint Commission. In addition to rehabilitation team member responsibilities, the CC Team Leader develops initiatives to improve documentation team communication, performs audits, and collaborates with IHIS team to achieve conformity with inpatient rehabilitation standards. The CC Lead will also be involved in working closely with leadership on quality and operations improvement initiatives. Minimum Education Required Master's Level Degree Required Qualifications CC Team Leaders, similar to rehabilitation team members, must be licensed with the respective profession (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology), and meet the educational and/or certification requirements established by their professions (speech pathologists must hold master's degrees; physical therapists, occupational therapists, must hold bachelor's degrees). All academic degrees must have been granted from an accredited institution. Typically, two-three years experience working in a medical or rehab hospital setting is preferred for all professionals hired. In addition, a CC Team Leader must demonstrate leadership amongst peers as evidenced by commitment to compliance and to operational and compliance standards. |
