Job Title Distressed Deal Administrator

Location Jacksonville, Florida

Overview

As a member of the Distressed Deal Administrator team, you will interact with Front Office and Trade Closing personnel to ensure that all trade settlements are completed to have accurate books and records position for the Bank. You will be part of the Banks Trade Settlement and Confirmation Operations Team to service and settle secondary bank loan trades and loans. You will interact with various internal teams such as Traders, Trader's Assistants, Operations and Finance teams as well as Loans Settlements and Servicing teams.

What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day loan activities including but not limited to deal builds, borrowings, principal & interest payments, trade splits, trade settlements and creation of remittance instructions, etc

  • Monitor scheduled activity to ensure that all transactions are processed within timeframes indicated

  • Reconciliation of entries and calculation for the Banks positions relating to interest, fee calculations, bankruptcy distributions, profit and loss discrepancies, etc

  • Daily monitoring of WIP (Work in Process) and Ops Control reports ensuring that items are properly identified and cleared in a timely manner

  • Other ad-hoc requests as needed assigned by management

Skills You'll Need

  • Ability to read and understand legal documents such as credit agreements, amendment documentation, trade settlement documents and loan servicing notices

  • Strong problem solving and/or analytical skills under tight deadlines and stress induced environment

  • Ability to work independently and handle heavy volumes within deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced investment banking operations environment

  • Thoroughness and attention to detail is a must

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

  • Knowledge of syndicated bank loans and Loan IQ platform is a plus

  • Excellent PC skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $48,000 to $68,800. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
