IEM is looking for a Full Time - CC&B Lead to join our dynamic team and will collaborate with the IT Organization in supporting CC&B functionality during and post AMI implementation.

Primary Location:



  • Live anywhere that meets remote work requirements in the United States.
  • Work will take place either in the field, in an office environment, or remote from a personal location and will depend on the need of the project.


Travel Requirements:



  • This position will require travel (up to 10%) around Puerto Rico to complete work assignments or attend meetings.


Essential Functions:



  • Ensures that CC&B functionality and integration meet the requirements to support the AMI enhancements.
  • Contributes, reviews, and approves designs for integration to the head end system to support the AMI requirements
  • Collaborates with the CX department to identify business requirements to enhance or improve application functionality that will support the full use of the AMI opportunities.
  • Collaborates with the IT department regarding integrations across impacted systems with CC&B
  • Collaborates with business users for integrated systems to CC&B (i.e. OMS, GIS, etc.) to ensure comprehensive technical design considerations and processes are aligned with business processes impacting CC&B
  • Validate that the integration and functionality in the CC&B user interface are aligned to reap the benefits of AMI from a customer perspective.
  • Perform other duties as assigned & Follow all policies and procedures.
  • Perform major storm restoring work and associated drills as assigned or needed.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience: 5 + years of IT Experience in a similar role including experience supporting CC&B
  • 2-3 years integration experience with CC&B or similar Customer Information and Billing System
  • Require both functional and technical knowledge of CC&B to ensure the technical implementation aligns with the functional requirements of the CX users
  • Understanding of the typical utility application and their connection to each other (CIS, GIS, OMS, etc) and associated application landscape including AMI.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 3-5 years Electric Utility experience
  • Good knowledge of Java, ORACLE, ODI Technology (Oracle Data Integrator) and OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition)
  • Knowledge of Web services, Rest API and SaaS
  • Experience with Mobile Workforce Management integration
  • Bilingual proficiency in written and oral communication (Spanish and English)

Additional Location and Travel Information:



  • Internet Requirements: All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.
  • Physical Requirements: During site assessments you may be asked to remain in a stationary period, sit, stand, bend, grab, or kneel; you should also be able to life/carry between 10-30Lbs approximately and have 20/20 corrected vision.
