Responsibilities

Chart Analyst Opportunity -

Fuller Hospital is a 109-bed licensed, private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Massachusetts providing inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services to residents of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Inpatient units are designed to treat adults with general psychiatric or intellectual disabilities, as well as adolescents with general psychiatric issues. Patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders can be treated on most units. Fuller Hospital also provides a less intensive Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) to patients with psychiatric and co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.

The Chart Analyst Maintains medical record integrity through filing, assembling and retrieving confidential information. This is a Full Time, 40 hour per week position.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with timely processing of inpatient medical records. Assembles discharge medical records according to approved chart order. Combines discharge record with previous admission
  • Analyzes medical record for deficiencies. Enters deficiency information into Deficiency Log in computer system. Files incomplete discharged charts in appropriate clinical staffing area.
    Follows up in completion of charts
  • Ensures all papers have the patient's name and medical record number prior to filing
  • Prepares legal status forms as directed by attending physician. Records status of patient's legal status on calendar (3 days) and online log. Places copy of legal status forms in inpatient medical record, according to procedure
  • Assists in preparation of monthly statistics as directed by HIM Director
