About This Role

The position is for a Parking Control Officer. The position includes writing tickets on vehicles that are in violation of Parking Rules and Regulations, towing of vehicles that are excessive or illegally parked and working special events such as football games. Extensive training is given to each employee when they start working and staff meetings are held. Employees are expected to work with little or no supervision most of the time.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • One year of parking services or relevant work experience.
  • Good written and oral communications skills.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Good organizational abilities.


Additional licenses / registrations / certifications:



  • Valid driver's license upon appointment.
  • Upon employment, training with new software, hardware, and equipment adapted by the department is required.
  • Work occasionally requires moderate to considerable physical exertion handling snow and ice melt during inclement weather.


Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
