This job posting is for employment with Corewell Health. Effective January 1, 2026, following the execution of a new agreement between Corewell Health and Quest Diagnostics, this position will transition employment to Quest Diagnostics. While this role will be integral to Corewell Health laboratoryoperations, employment will be withQuest Diagnostics effective January 1, 2026, contingent upon successful completion of Quest Diagnostics' pre-employment requirements.

Corewell Health Reed City Lab is a high volume, fast paced environment with a dedicated customer service team. Scope of Work:

Inpatient and outpatient specimen collection. Specimen processing, including specimens brought to the laboratory by other departments. Use of electronic information system, including portable printers and positive patient identification devices. Answering telephones. Engaging with other departments in patient care. Sustain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.

Qualifications
  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent and graduate of a Phlebotomy training program (based on specific Spectrum Health entity and department as appropriate) preferred.
  • Preferred Associate's Degree Healthcare related field
  • 1 year of relevant experience Dealing with the public, preferably in the medical or customer service field Preferred
  • CRT-Phlebotomy Technician - NHA National Health career Association preferred
