The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year. About the role: As a Project Engineer 1 you will support of exciting New Plant opportunities. This Project Engineer will participate in specific activities with our consortium partners related to the construction of AP1000 nuclear power plants to support Westinghouse International new build market development. You will report to the Manager of P1000 Constructor Interface & PEM. This position is hybrid in nature requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Township, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation will be provided for this position. Integrate Global Engineering Services input to support new build offers. Manage Global Engineering Services scope for programs aiming at improving the International marketability and the delivery of AP1000 projects worldwide. The lead and integration of Global Engineering Services scope to support new build market development, early works and FEED contracts (up to the establishment of a project-specific department). Develop International Project Engineering resources to support future new build projects (up to the establishment of a project-specific department) Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement standard work processes, procedures and automation tools on our AP1000 New Plant Opportunities consistent with the strategic direction established by the respective Project Partners. Participate in cross-discipline coordination for both technical and schedule related issues. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and issue resolution processes to support construction activities. Support contract activities to ensure completion within the required timeframe. Participate in continuous learning to build expertise in project execution. 10% travel may be required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Nuclear, or related discipline). Minimum 3.0 GPA Familiarity with nuclear power plant systems, codes, and standards is a plus Exposure to project management tools or methodologies. #LI-Hybrid Why Westinghouse?
