- Estimated annual base pay: $83,200(minimum) - $104,000(midpoint) - $124,800(maximum)

Key Responsibilities:
- The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is responsible for EPM System Administration and Development:Administer and maintain the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tool, including managing vendor updates, troubleshooting issues, and developing system enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
- Requirements Gathering and Translation:Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial reporting and analysis requirements, translating them into technical specifications and actionable development plans for the EPM system.
- Data Management and Analysis:Utilize databases and advanced query tools to gather, analyze, and validate financial data. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to inform decision-making and improve reporting accuracy.
- Data Science and Analytics Integration:Leverage data science techniques and advanced analytics within the EPM system to design, develop, and implement financial models and forecasts. Provide actionable insights through dashboards and visualizations that support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Process Optimization:Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial system processes, enhancing efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance and IT, to ensure alignment on system design, functionality, and performance. Provide Tier 3 support to end users, resolving complex issues promptly.
- Communication and Reporting:Deliver clear and actionable insights through reporting and visualization tools. Communicate financial data and system updates effectively to stakeholders, including senior management.
- System Testing and Release Management:Manage vendor releases and updates by coordinating testing efforts, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless deployment to the production environment.
- Continuous Improvement:Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to proactively identify opportunities for system and process enhancements, driving long-term operational improvements.
Key Skills:
- Technical Proficiency:Expertise in developing solutions using SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages, along with proficiency in managing and enhancing financial systems, including ERP, EPM, and other financial tools.
- System Development Lifecycle Knowledge:Deep understanding of system development lifecycles, with attention to detail when transitioning from development to testing and production environments.
- Requirements Translation:Ability to translate business needs into thoughtful technical requirements and execute them effectively.
- Process Improvement:Skill in identifying opportunities to optimize financial processes and implementing changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Data Analysis and Statistical Insight:Expertise in analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, leveraging statistical techniques and advanced query tools.
- Forecasting and Modeling:Ability to develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Communication Skills:Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and financial data insights to diverse audiences in a clear and professional manner, including promptly responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Team Collaboration:Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Financial Knowledge:Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
