Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Product Manager - Bicycle is responsible for translating the product vision, defined by the Global Product Line Manager, into a clear roadmap and actionable product requirements for the bicycle product line. This role ensures that customer needs, market insights, and operational data are integrated into product development. The Product Manager works cross-functionally with R&D, Design, Quality, Project Management, and Product Operations to deliver successful products to market.



Key Responsibilities


Roadmap Execution & Product Requirements



  • Translate the product vision into detailed product roadmaps and specifications.


  • Define features, performance requirements, and target user profiles.


  • Prioritize requirements in alignment with business goals and feasibility.


Market & Customer Insight Integration



  • Partner with Sales and Business Development to capture customer feedback and market needs.


  • Collaborate with Product Operations to leverage sales data, market analysis, and performance metrics.


  • Benchmark against competitor offerings and market trends.


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Work with R&D and Design to ensure concepts are technically feasible and meet user expectations.


  • Partner with Project Management to track development timelines and milestones.


  • Coordinate with Quality to validate performance and compliance during product development.


  • Align with Product Operations on commercialization readiness (SKU creation, pricing input, packaging).


Lifecycle & Market Performance Monitoring



  • Monitor product performance in the field using data provided by Product Operations.


  • Identify improvement opportunities and feed them into roadmap updates.


  • Support continuous lifecycle management, from introduction through phase-out.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



  • On-time, in-scope delivery of new products in the bicycle line.


  • Product adoption and customer satisfaction scores.


  • Forecast accuracy (in partnership with Product Operations).


  • Contribution to product line revenue, margin, and market share growth.


  • Responsiveness to customer and market feedback.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3+ years of product management or related experience, ideally in the bicycle, sporting goods, or mobility industry.
  • Strong analytical ability with experience working with sales and operational data.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with product development tools and systems (PDM, ERP, PLM).
  • Passion for cycling and knowledge of bicycle markets strongly preferred.
  • Excited to work in the office with great teammates.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Pay & Benefits



  • Full-Time
  • Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000
  • No bonus potential
  • Medical, Dental and Vision insurance:benefits beginonthe first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  • Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days
  • 401(k):3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
  • Tuition Reimbursement
