Job Summary
The Sr. Asset Protection Analyst, as part of the Corporate Operations team, is responsible for leading efforts to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks related to theft, fraud, inventory shrinkage, and operational loss. This role plays a critical role in developing advanced analytics, leveraging AI-driven detection tools, and supporting analysis for investigations. The Sr. Analyst partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance corporate asset protection strategies and improve operational effectiveness.

Duties & Responsibilities



  • Lead analysis of data from POS systems, inventory management tools, AI-driven fraud detection platforms, exception reporting, and other sources to detect trends, anomalies, and risks.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on loss prevention metrics, including theft, fraud, shrinkage, and operational errors.
  • Support complex investigations into internal and external theft, fraud, and policy violations; coordinate with management.
  • Provide actionable intelligence and recommendations to field and corporate leadership.
  • Develop preventative measures and programs to reduce shrinkage and improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments across the organization to ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and executive-level presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts within the team.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, AI tools, and evolving risk mitigation technologies.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Criminal Justice, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in asset protection, corporate operations, risk management, or fraud detection.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using exception-based reporting systems and AI-driven fraud detection tools.
  • Proven track record of analyzing complex investigations and delivering actionable insights.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel, MS Access, and AI analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and sound judgment.

Salary Range: $75-$85k
