We are seeking a highly experienced technically proficient personnel member to join our Powertrain Engineering team. The ideal candidate with a strong foundation in valve body assembly and component designs for the automatic transmissions will bring deep expertise to our Hydraulics team. The person will possess the knowledge of developing hydraulic concept designs that includes valve, spring, orifice sizing calculation with the incorporation of the industry best practices. The person has in-depth understanding of valve body casting and machining, design for manufacture and working level knowledge of the proportional, on-off and PWM solenoids and hydraulic control units. This position will lead the development of valve body from concept through launch, ensuring robust, defect-free, and production-ready designs that meet hydraulics, lubrication and shift quality requirements.
