As a Capacity Planning Analyst, you'll own the process of evaluating and forecasting infrastructure demand, with a specific focus on our customers' critical events. You'll partner directly with customer success managers and a wide range of engineering teams to ensure our systems are ready for major usage spikes, such as open enrollment, holiday sales, or other high-traffic events.

This position requires onsite presence in the Bellevue office.

In this role, you will:

  • Forecast Demand: Partner with product owners to understand their service architecture, roadmaps, and business forecasts to produce accurate infrastructure demand forecasts for compute, storage, and network resources.

  • Make Recommendations: Develop and present clear recommendations to engineering teams for increasing capacity when necessary to prevent performance issues and ensure customer trust.

  • Serve as an Expert: Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams, providing direct insights and analyses that customer success managers can relay to our customers.

  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work cross-functionally with senior product owners, technical service teams, and data science professionals to optimize processes and contribute to building new automation tools.

  • Build Relationships: Develop strong, trusting relationships with internal stakeholders to support the continued success of our products.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, business intelligence, strategy, capacity planning, financial modeling, analytics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience consolidating complex datasets across various unconnected systems and platforms to tell a clear story.

  • Fundamental knowledge of systems infrastructure and how services interact with underlying hardware.

  • Experience building statistical models.

  • Strong interpersonal and executive presentation skills for effective partnership and long-range planning, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience presenting data in a consistent and repeatable manner to various stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail with a focus on data quality.

  • Proficiency with SQL.

  • Experience in capacity management, planning, forecasting, and scheduling is a plus.

  • A related technical degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure is beneficial.

  • The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • A passion for problem-solving and ensuring customer success.
