About the role:
Join Boston Scientific in a pivotal leadership role driving enterprise transformation. As Associate Director, ERP Systems Design & Development, you will oversee the design, development, and global implementation of SAP S/4HANA for Commercial, Sales & Distribution, ensuring seamless integration across the enterprise. Reporting to the VP of IT ERP Transformation, you will lead strategic direction and continuous improvement of the company's "Customer to Cash" (C2C) process within our ERP landscape.

In this role, you will lead global initiatives that touch multiple business functions, providing technical and strategic guidance to internal teams and external partners. You'll play a critical role in configuring systems, managing complex data and security needs, enabling robust reporting, and ensuring successful global deployments. At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Lead the global implementation of SAP S/4HANA for Commercial, Sales & Distribution, acting as the IT business partner to functional transformation leaders and driving future-state process design.
  • Oversee a high-performing team of architects and systems integrators. Ensure alignment with program schedules, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in design workshops and influence decisions using best practices and out-of-the-box functionality. Oversee configuration, development, and testing activities across product teams and program sprints.
  • Coordinate status updates with the Global Magellan PMO and IT leadership. Manage program financials, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional activities.
  • Apply your experience in deploying large-scale SAP solutions across globally dispersed teams. Navigate time zones, languages, and regulatory environments to ensure successful delivery.
  • Engage with executive sponsors, regional leaders, and multiple consulting and vendor partners. Act as a trusted advisor to ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
  • Ensure timely, accurate sales reporting and analytics. Partner with BI teams to deliver dashboards and insights that support strategic decision-making.



Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience with SAP and eBusiness platforms, including large-scale ERP implementations
  • Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, integration, testing, cutover, and data conversion
  • Proven success managing global teams and vendor relationships
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including consultants and software providers
  • Deep understanding of enterprise systems design in manufacturing, quality, and finance environments



Preferred qualifications:



  • Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in the Life Sciences industry
  • Familiarity with Commercial processes and operations across manufacturing, quality, and finance

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
