Job Overview: Our Inventory Control is responsible for ensuring inventory records are accurate by working with other departments to ensure proper procedures are followed and updating the ERP system with any changes. Complete maintenance checks and reports to ensure inventory accuracy. Responsibilities: * Ensure inventory records are accurate * Maintains accurate records to record inventory changes * Coordinates and integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy * Assist in the implementation of procedures to prevent errors * Coordinate daily cycle counts with each department * Ensures the integrity of the inventory by verifying item number, description of unit of measure and location * Performs all inventory transactions on ERP system * Develop RCCM to explain inventory discrepancies at monthly MOR * Performs counts as necessary using scales, hand counts, etc. * Determines root cause for each cycle count discrepancy * Focus on safety and quality * Performs all other duties as assigned and necessary * Streamline inventory functions in both locations (Chicago, Lincolnshire) Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED * 1+ year experience in inventory control or manufacturing envrioment * 1+ year of experience in ERP system usage/knowledge Core Competencies: * The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. * The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds * Visit the Lincolnshire location at least once a month Preferences: * Proficiency in MS Office software * Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills to communicate with all levels of the organization Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements: This position will be based at our site in Chicago, IL no travel. Pay Range: Starting Pay will range between $21.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
