Job Summary:

I-State Truck Center is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across multiple locations (North Dakota, Montana, and Iowa), focusing on the sale of heavy-duty commercial trucks and trailers. The Finance Manager will be responsible for developing and managing financing solutions for customers, ensuring seamless transactions, and driving profitability while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. This role requires strong leadership, financial expertise, and a customer-centric approach to support our sales teams and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Financing Solutions: Develop, negotiate, and manage financing programs for customers purchasing heavy-duty commercial trucks and trailers, collaborating with banks, lenders, and financial institutions to secure competitive terms.
  • Multi-Location Oversight: Supervise financial operations across multiple I-State Truck Center locations, ensuring consistent processes, policies, and performance metrics.
  • Sales Support: Partner with sales teams to provide financing expertise, assist in closing deals, and ensure customers receive tailored financing options that meet their needs.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all financing agreements comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including lending laws and industry standards. Mitigate financial risks by reviewing credit applications and assessing customer eligibility.
  • Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze financing performance metrics, including loan approval rates, interest margins, and default rates, to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their financing needs and providing exceptional service to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline financing processes, implement the best practices, and leverage technology to improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on financing activities, performance metrics, and market trends for senior management.


Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in the automotive or heavy-duty truck industry is highly desirable.
  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of financing, lending, and credit evaluation processes.
    • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
    • Proficiency in financial software systems.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Leadership and team management abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.


  • Licensing: Valid driver's license; ability to travel between multiple locations as needed.
  • Other: Familiarity with heavy-duty commercial truck and trailer markets is a plus.


Working Conditions:



  • Office-based role with frequent travel to I-State Truck Center locations in North Dakota, Montana, and Iowa.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work to meet sales and customer demands.
