Program Coordinator I - Center for Child Well-Being

Department of Psychiatry

The Center for Child Well-Being, housed within the Department of Psychiatry in the University of Missouri School of Medicine, seeks a Program Coordinator I to support Psychiatry Access Programs, including the Maternal Health Access Project (MHAP).

MHAP aims to expand the capacity of perinatal, medical, and social service providers across Missouri to identify and treat mild to moderate mental and behavioral health conditions in pregnant and postpartum patients.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at the Center for Child Well-Being in Columbia, Missouri, with occasional travel throughout the state.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, manage, and sustain professional relationships with internal University teams and external partners across Missouri.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Support daily program operations and track progress toward project milestones under the guidance of the MHAP Program Lead.
- Collect, analyze, and report on project data; assist in preparing technical reports and offering technical assistance.
- Make recommendations for project improvement and efficiency.
- Manage training logistics, including registration and continuing education credit processing.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the project's website and outreach materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Occasional nights and weekends to accommodate community activities.

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred educational experience related to public health, public policy, behavioral health, psychology, or related fields.
2 years of experience.
A highly desirable candidate will have a background or knowledge base in the following areas: public health program management, public policy, maternal and perinatal health care
Knowledge of RedCAP or database management is preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $24.04 - $32.00 hourly
Grade: GGS - 008
