About our group:

Product Delivery and Experience organization manages strategic qualification planning & execution and supports customers using Seagate products in their field deployments. Within the PDE organization are Qualification and Quality supervision and HDD Program Management. Combined, we help define, develop, launch and support our HDD product portfolio throughout its life cycle.

About the role - you will:

PDE intern based in US Design Center with cross functional exposure in the field of Qualification Management, Customer Quality Engineering, and Program Management. The intern will be primarily responsible for ensuring our customers gets the best Total Customer Experience. This includes helping manage qualification processes and reporting, managing quality both in qualification and sustaining phase, management of Failure Analysis, generating 8 Discipline (8D) reports, providing corrective actions to the customers, and working on Program Management tasks. In addition, enable initiatives and projects to improve work processes within and outside the organization.

Additional Job responsibilities include:



  • Monitors product qualification status and execution.
  • Helps prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
  • Lead qualification and sustaining process improvement projects. Manage timeline and resources.
  • Qualification FA queue tracking and communication to customer teams.
  • Field Failure Analysis Tracking and communication to customer teams.
  • Failure Analysis Priority Management with WW FA Team.
  • Failure Analysis management and tracking.
  • Assist with customer Qual and Field escalations with Customer Success & Design Center resources.
  • Helps in demand and supply planning, configuration management, prioritization alignment, shipment logistics, and communication across stakeholders.

Your experience includes:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field and will be returning back to school in Fall 2026.
  • Hard Drive, Solid State or Storage knowledge preferred.
  • Problem Solving and Issue resolution skills.
  • Working with cross functional extended team outside the core organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Learning new tools and putting them to productive use quickly.
  • Strong project management skills, handling multiple projects concurrently.
  • Data mining and data analytics experience.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $27.00- $29.00/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan. Seagate also offers Interns 12 paid holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave. The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
