Position Summary:

The Leave of Absence (LOA) Administrator is responsible for administration, tracking, and reporting all aspects of employee leave programs, including but not limited to FMLA, state leave of absence programs, leave as an accommodation, short-term disability, long-term disability, parental leave, and personal leave. This position utilizes excellent customer service, efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement while performing duties and responsibilities in a timely manner, in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Values of GESMN while maintaining confidentiality of employee records. The LOA administrator serves as a key liaison between payroll, benefits providers, and GESMN's LOA third- party administrator to enter accurate and timely processing of leave requests.

Day in the life: In a typical day, the Administrator, Leave of Absence will....



  • Leave Administration: Performs the administrative functions of all leave programs in collaboration with GESMN's LOA process. Collaborates with the organization's third-party LOA administrator and assists with the coordination of state benefits and requirements.



Job Pay & Perks:



  • Pay range: $27.38 - $37.04/hr.
  • This is a scheduled-hybrid role whose essential functions require work to be conducted at a physical location, which may include a GESMN or partner facility, at least two (2) days per week. The remaining days can be worked from the employee's home office or a designated community setting as directed by the manager.

About You:

Required Knowledge & Skills:

*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Ability to oversee sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
*Well-versed in federal, state, and local leave programs and regulations.
*Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
*Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Excel formulas, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
*Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Prior Experience & Education:

*2-3 years of HR or leave administration required.
*Working knowledge of FMLA, HIPPAA, MNPFLA, and other relevant leave laws.
*Proficient with electronic record storage, case management software, and HR information systems.
*Bachelor's degree or certification in a related field preferred.
