Work Schedule:

Onsite - Buffalo, NY Moog is hiring aProcess Development Leaderin our Defense Group.You will report to the Quality Manager and will have anonsite work scheduleinEast Aurora, NY. To be considered for the Process Development Leader, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 1-5 years' experience or Associate's Degree with 5-10 years of related experience.
  • Experience solving problems with divisions and operating groups and other departments.
  • Project experience with lean and process variation reduction principles.
As a Process Development Leader, you will:
  • Plan, organize, and follow-up on projects, tasks acting as a facilitative leader as situations dictate.
  • Strike a balance between leading, active participation and coaching to develop the solutions and implement them.
  • Guide a team through a process that includes rapid cycles of education, application of that education, implementation of change, and evaluation of results.
  • Develop processes that ensure the implementation of lean, team and process variation education principles.
  • Apply problem solving processes through A3 thinking, Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, and DMAIC approach
  • Encourage, motivate and foster an environment for continuous improvement.
  • Support the selection, mentoring and development of the next wave of leaders through Lean teachings and coaching
  • Develop yourself to fill the many roles of being a great facilitator; Partner, Planner, Enabler, Motivator, Taskmaster, and Guide
  • Implement, govern, and advocate the Moog Lean Management System principles/concepts across the organization
  • Coach, remove barriers, work with other departments and conduct organized, meetings.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $70,000.00-$110,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
