Job Title: High Voltage Technician Objective: Safely operate bench test equipment to perform validations and repairs on railroad equipment to include: Batteries, Compressors, electronic, electrical, mechanical controllers, and High Voltage systems while adhering to production schedules. Perform repairs using manual and power tools. Work on wide range of electronic equipment, computer systems, and mechanical equipment under the supervision of technical engineer/Manager. Perform automated and manual testing on high voltage mechanical equipment. Follow all electronic, electrical, mechanical and CFC safety requirements. Use MS Office programs to include Access for creating reports and analysis. Use SAP to input and track completed task. Train and assist other technicians on shop process and safety standards. Advise Technical Engineers and or Shop Supervisors as requested. Use MS Office programs for creating reports and product analysis. Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Education Requirement: High School Diploma Required Vocational/Technical school graduate preferred. NFPA70E certification preferred and/or equivalent military background in electronics preferred Experience:
