Join Smithfield Foods as our Retirement Plans Manager and take the lead in shaping the future of our retirement and equity programs.In this strategic role, you'll oversee the administration and compliance of our retirement plans-including Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, 401k and other supplemental plans ensuring they align with company goals and deliver long-term value to our employees. You'll drive plan design enhancements, lead system and process improvements, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless operations and financial stewardship. Beyond day-to-day oversight, you'll champion initiatives that improve employee understanding and engagement with their retirement benefits. You'll also play a key role in special projects such as mergers, acquisitions, and organizational restructuring, bringing your problem-solving skills and strategic mindset to complex transitions.
