Solutions Engineer

Saint-Gobain Omniseal Solutions is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Digital and Engineering Services Team. This role supports the design, development, and optimization of high-performance sealing components through a combination of physical testing and finite element analysis (FEA).

We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in both physical testing and simulation. However, we also welcome early-career engineers or recent graduates who are passionate about solving engineering problems and eager to learn. As a Solutions Engineer, you will drive the development and optimization of sealing solutions through hands-on testing and advanced simulation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate designs, select materials, and ensure product performance across industries such as space, aviation, Conduct physical testing (e.g., load, leakage, and material behavior) to validate product performance.

• Perform analytical calculation (e.g. FEA) to support design decisions, failure analysis, and process optimization.
• Analyze and interpret test and simulation data to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve product reliability and manufacturability.
• Investigate material and component behavior using both experimental and computational methods.
• Present findings through clear documentation and technical communication.
• Participate in customer meetings and technical exhibitions to support product promotion and application development.
• Manage multiple projects with attention to timelines, documentation, and business objectives.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment in accordance with Saint-Gobain's safety policies.

What do you bring?

• Required - BS with 3+ years of experience or MS plus demonstrated technical judgment/accomplishments in Material Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/ Aeronautics Engineering or other related disciplines.
• Required - Hands-on experience with test design and physical testing.
• Preferred - Experience with numerical simulations, particularly with FEM.
• Preferred - Experience using SolidWorks/CAD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Develop ability to maintain composure and organize teams in high pressure situation.
• Demonstrate understanding of company policies and corporate structure.

Pay Transparency:

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $70,000.00 to $108,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $76,300.00 to $117,700.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
