Coordinator of Transfer Initiatives and TAP (Temporary/part-time)

General Summary of Position:

Under the direction of the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, the Coordinator of Transfer Initiatives manages day-to-day operations of the Transfer Alliance Program (TAP), supports transfer students' onboarding and success, and coordinates the Peer Ally program in collaboration with the TAP Faculty Director. The coordinator partners across Admissions, CLASS/Advising, Career Services, the Registrar, the colleges, and community college partners to deliver a smooth transfer experience, keep communications clear and timely, and monitor outcomes. This is currently being offered as a part-time position of 18.5 hours/week, grant-funded until October 31, 2026, with the possibility for renewal.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):



  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year coordinating student programs or transfer-related initiatives in higher education, or equivalent student support experience.


Additional Considerations:



  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort with Microsoft 365/Teams and basic web forms.
  • Strong organizing skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Commitment to equity, access, and inclusion in student support.
  • Participation in occasional evening or weekend support for events and peak onboarding periods.
