Patient Service Coordinator - Cardiology
MaineHealth - 96 Campus Drive

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (consistent schedule)
Option for four 10-hour shifts may be considered.
Remote Flexibility: Yes, after training period this position can have 1-2 remote days.

Position Overview
MaineHealth is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to join our Cardiology Department at 96 Campus Drive. In this important role, you will support the ambulatory operations of the MaineHealth Cardiovascular Service Line. The Patient Service Coordinator manages complex scheduling within the practice and provides vital administrative and office support for patients and providers, ensuring a seamless and compassionate care experience.

You will play a key role in facilitating quality access-to-care by coordinating ambulatory physician and APP coverage, inpatient hospital services, and regional outreach sites. This position also organizes yearly weekend call schedules, manages data entry and reporting, and contributes to strategic access-to-care planning by presenting proposals and insights to senior leadership and physicians.

Operating Hours:
Facility hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Two years of administrative patient service experience.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
