About the Job

Job description:
A part-time researcher with ultrahigh field MRI experience will support funded research projects focusing on the development of UHF technologies and their translation. This focus can include the development, testing and optimization of pTx methods, RF coils, acquisition methods and advanced reconstruction strategies for wide ranging biomedical applications. Specific optimization strategies for RF coil designs and pTx optimization strategies will be accomplished in concert with the PI and assembled teams of engineers and students.

Responsibilities:
* Development of pTx optimization strategies for head and body imaging applications on human ultrahigh field MRI systems
* Design strategies and optimization methods for RF coils to obtain optimal transmit and receive performance.
* Support data analysis and post processing of experimentally obtained data and compare against simulations.

Qualifications

All required qualifications must be documented on application materials.
Required Qualifications:
* PhD in biomedical engineering or a similar field

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with multi objective optimizations
* Electromagnetic simulation experience
* Experience with designing and building RF coils
* Track record of publications in the field of MRI

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $35.00 - 42.00/hr; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
