Overview We are seeking a Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) sometimes referred to as a Certified Surgical Tech First Assist (CST/First Assistant) or Surgical First Assistant (SFA) in our operating room. The Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFSA) works directly alongside the surgeon in the operating room, helping position and prep the patient, maintaining the sterile field, and assisting with instruments throughout the procedure. First Assistant's actively participate in surgery by providing exposure, controlling bleeding, suturing, closing incisions, and anticipating the surgeon's needs to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care.
