The Senior AI Application Analyst plays a pivotal role in advancing clinical and operational excellence through the implementation and optimization of automation and AI-driven applications. This position focuses on integrating artificial intelligence solutions into provider and nursing workflows, ensuring alignment with healthcare operations and strategic goals. The analyst will collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders, IT teams, and vendor partners to support AI initiatives that enhance documentation, decision support, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and AI integration in provider and nursing workflows.
• Lead the design, testing, and deployment of AI-enabled applications and tools.
• Serve as a liaison between clinical IS and operational teams and technical developers to translate workflow needs into functional AI solutions.
• Analyze data and performance metrics to evaluate the impact of AI applications on clinical and operational outcomes.
• Support change management efforts, including training, communication, and adoption strategies working closely with technology education and change management.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base for AI applications, including workflows, use cases, and troubleshooting guides.
• Monitor vendor roadmaps and industry trends to inform strategic planning and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy standards, and organizational governance policies.

Experience

Required:

• 35 years of experience in healthcare IT or clinical informatics, with a focus on application support or implementation.
• Strong understanding of provider and nursing workflows.
• Demonstrated experience working with operational stakeholders to implement technology solutions.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and their application in healthcare (e.g., NLP, predictive analytics, ambient documentation).

Preferred:

• Experience with Epic, including AI-related modules or features.
• Exposure to AI platforms or tools such as ambient clinical intelligence solutions.
• Background in project management or process improvement methodologies.
• Licensed RN/LPN.
