Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Design and implement strategies to ensure application services are highly availability Monitor application and infrastructure health using Dynatrace and Splunk, analyzing logs and metrics to identify and resolve issues Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for configuration management and operational tasks Collaborate with development teams to optimize Spring Boot applications for resilience and scalability Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews to improve system reliability Implement observability best practices, including dashboards, alerts, and performance tuning Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to organizational standards Requirements: 5+ years' experience Strong experience in site reliability engineering or resiliency-focused roles Hands-on expertise with Dynatrace (APM) and Splunk (log analysis and monitoring) Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management Solid understanding of Spring Boot applications and microservices architecture Some knowledge of MongoDB, including replication and sharding Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Excellent communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Desired skills: A positive attitude, excellent written, and verbal communication skills Process oriented and detailed oriented Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced project environment Willingness to be accountable for meeting all deliverable dates for task assignments Knowledge of banking industry processes Pay range: $45.85 - $53.85 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
