Creighton University's School of Medicine is seeking a Program Manager to join our Graduate Medical Education (GME) team. The Program Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the success and compliance of our residency and fellowship programs. This position supports the educational mission of Creighton University by managing day-to-day program operations, assisting with accreditation efforts, and providing high-level administrative support to faculty, residents, and fellows.

Key Responsibilities



  • Program Administration & Accreditation: Develop expert knowledge of ACGME Core and Program Requirements, policies, and procedures. Coordinate accreditation activities, including Annual Program Evaluations, Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) meetings, Milestone reporting, and ACGME site visits. Track and maintain data for program evaluations, surveys, and self-studies.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage ERAS, NRMP, and SOAP processes; oversee applicant communication and interview coordination. Lead the organization of recruitment days and onboarding for new trainees.
  • Scheduling & Compliance: Maintain resident/fellow schedules in the Residency Management System. Coordinate leave requests and monitor compliance with duty hours and institutional policies.
  • Program Liaison & Communications: Serve as the key contact between the Program Director, GME Office, and trainees. Manage communications, meetings, and program documentation; update program materials and websites.
  • Curriculum & Education Support: Partner with the Program Evaluation Committee (PEC) to develop workshops, bootcamps, and core curricula. Create and manage evaluations and conference attendance tracking.
  • Finance & Operations: Manage program budgets, reimbursements, and professional development funds. Oversee travel and purchasing arrangements for residents/fellows and program events.
  • Events & Community Building: Plan and execute educational, wellness, and social events. Support trainee engagement and maintain program culture aligned with Creighton's Jesuit mission.



Qualifications



  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Office administration experience, ideally in higher education, healthcare, or GME.
  • Experience in educational program management, HR, or leadership administration preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.



Licensure/Certification



  • TAGME certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within three years of employment.
