TheFullService Technician isresponsible forreconditioning, reassembly, and testing ofsubstationtransformers. Compliance with all safety requirements, product qualitystandardsand company policies are essential functions of this role. This role is 1st shift Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Read and follow work order instructions to ensure your rebuilding transformers to customer specifications. Gather parts and tools that are needed for the work order and ensure they are in good working condition prior to usage. Reconditioning and reassembly substationtransformers will include butisnot limited to cleaning and inspecting components, replacing gaskets, changing the oil and basic repairs. Perform quality checks and basic testing on units before they leave the workstation. Utilize shop equipment and tools safely and appropriately. Return equipment to proper location once usage is complete. Usage of overhead craneand other material handling equipment may be needed to perform job tasks. Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation. Other assigned duties as needed. HS Diploma/GED preferred. Mechanical and transformer experience preferred. OSHA10 certification preferred Material handling equipment experience (forklift, crane, etc.)preferred. A proventrack recordin safety excellence isrequired. Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify managementimmediatelyof any safety concerns,hazardous conditions, or injuries. Ability to read andinterpret work orders. Meetdepartment and production goals set by supervisor. Ensure product quality meets company and client expectations. Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, cooperative attitude, strong attention todetailandcan workin a team environment. Complete company complianceand safetytrainingwhenrequired. Ability to worka flexible schedule and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment. Physical requirements for this role include,but are not limited to the following: Lift 50lbs floor to waist and waist to shoulder multiple times Standing and walking for long durations Bending, squatting, and kneeling multiple times for long durations The ability to climb up and down a ladder multiple times Balance and stand on a ladder with three points of contact for extended periods of time Comfortable working in the heat and cold due to manufacturing facilities not being climate controlled
