Job Description:
We're looking for a full time, Engineer, Development & Operations 3
As the Engineer, Development & Operations 3, here's the work you'll do: * Utilization of Lean Manufacturing tools to assist in preparing feasibility studies and ensure that costs incurred are justified. Leads continuous improvement projects. * Interact with customer representatives in a professional manner to understand, develop and deliver unique requests in a collaborative manner. * Confer with management and other related personnel to create designs and clarify or resolve any relevant issues. * Develop methods and make recommendations to reduce cost without compromising the safety and quality standards to ensure increased efficiency and quality. * Execute cost effective designs, research, and development work to the manufacturing process; including, assembly methods, production flow, and production equipment. * Assists with determining the root causes for system inefficiencies and failures and makes recommendations for changes in designs and the related processing methodologies This role is for you if you have these skills: * Extremely well organized and should have the ability to identify problems and resolve them quickly. * Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent organization, planning and implementation skills. * Positive self-driven attitude with a high level of problem solving leadership, results oriented and deep level of experience with production techniques and product knowledge. * Adaptable to accept new changes in the field of lean manufacturing and should remain abreast with the latest developments happening in that field.. * Excellent analytical skills combined with good negotiation and conflict management skills And if you have these qualifications: * Bachelor in Industrial Engineering. * 5+ years Industrial Engineering experience. * Valid driver's license required. * Munitions experience preferre In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $104,4480.00 - $156,720.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
