The Procurement Excellence Center (PEC) is a strategic function dedicated todriving procurement transformation, operational efficiency, and value creation across the organization.Within the Procurementorganization, thePECestablishesbest practices, standardizes processes, andleveragesadvanced analytics and market intelligence to enable data-driven decision-making.ThePECcollaborates withall Procurement teamsto enhance capabilities, improve performance, andoptimizecosts. Key focus areas include market intelligence and analytics, digital procurement transformation, risk management,supplier relationship management, governance, and capability development.

Position Summary

TheProcurementServices Master Data,Seniorroleplays a key role insupportingthe integrity, accuracy, and governance of procurement-related master data.This individual contributoris responsible formaintainingand improving data quality,supporting theoptimization ofdata processes, and supporting procurement transformation initiatives through effective data management.

This individualcollaborates with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, IT,and Supply Chain, tosupportenforcement ofdata governance policies,supportautomation, and enhance reporting capabilities. This role requiresexperiencein data management, strong analytical skills, andsupportingprocurement efficiency and decision-making.Key responsibilities includecreation, maintenance, and governance ofprocurementmaster data while ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

The ideal candidate has abackground indata management,andexperienceindata governance frameworks, data quality management, and process automation.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work headquarters.

PG&E isprovidingthesalary range that canreasonably beexpected for this position at the time ofthejobposting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job.The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, and geographic location.The decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors. This job is also eligible toparticipateinPG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Pay Range display:

Bay Area - $98,000 to$134,000

Reporting Relationship

The ProcurementServices Master Data,Seniorrolewill report to theManager of ProcurementServices Master Data.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supportsthe creation, maintenance, and governance of procurement master data, including vendor, material, contract, and pricing data.

  • Actsas theprimarycontact for questions, issues, and problems for multiple datasets.

  • Supportsimproved data management maturity for multiple datasets by collaborating with other Data Stewards.

  • Maintains and shares in-depth knowledge of how data is collected,maintained, and interpreted in the organization.

  • Formscross-functional teams toidentifydata management maturity issues and design business process improvements.

  • Recommendsand implementscorrective measures on data quality issues that arise.

  • Recommendsand managesalerts and controls for improved data management maturity, andmonitorsand track data quality and compliance to data standards/policies.

  • Participatesin the establishment of business rules, policies, and standards for measurable data management maturity and implementsappropriate toolstomonitormaturity.

  • CollaborateswithProcurementSMEs to define metadata for subject data components.

  • Definesand documentsrules around data collection, storage, flow, and use for business processes.

Background Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or MIS.

  • 4years of experience in data management, data governance, data quality, reference (master) data management, and/or designing and implementing functional systems and data in a structured process.

Desired

  • Knowledge of datamanagementbest practices, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards(e.g., SOX).

  • Experience in business process mapping and design.

  • Ability to work with complex, cross-functional teams.

  • Proven experience improving data qualityand morebroadlydata management maturity.

  • Strongverbal and written communication skills.

  • Stronganalytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

  • Robust understanding ofdata governance landscape, processes, and design principles.

  • Proficiencyinbusiness process mapping and design.

  • Excellent relationship management, interpersonal,collaborationand negotiation skills.

  • Prior experience working with ERP systems (i.e.,SAP) and procurement platforms (i.e.,Ariba)
