Overview
Job Purpose The Client Dedicated Financial Control Consultant role is a senior individual contributor role focused on providing subject matter expertise on Mortgage and Consumer servicing Financial Control functions across the ICE Mortgage Technology Solutions. This position will be responsible for impact analysis, knowledge transfer, business reviews, internal and external reporting, and program management of engagements impacting the assigned functional area. Responsibilities
- Works within a team on Financial Controls consulting projects to meet specific client requirements
- Expertly configures, research and documents client needs related to the assigned function
- Defines product scope, objectives, and requirements. Defines specifications and data models for product development and testing
- Provides recommendations on best practices and changes in technology accordingly
- Devises and/or modifies processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and to solve the most complex business process problems
- Conducts a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests. Conducts tests using client data to be certain client needs will be met
- Consults directly with the client and may travel to the client site
- Acts as team leader for consulting projects, leading sub-plans, or small projects. May mentor, guide, advise, and/or check the work of less experienced Technology Business Consultants
- May play a key role in the training of client and technical support personnel on enhancements, new analytics, or procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Travel to client site, could be up to 10-25% at certain times.
Knowledge and Experience
- Familiarity with ICE Mortgage Technology products and service
- Working knowledge of Investor Reporting, Corporate Accounting and Bank Reconciliation
- In-depth knowledge of Mortgage, Consumer Cash and related ICE Mortgage Technology products
- Familiarity with Payment Services integrations (i.e., Lockbox, Digital Banking, ACH, API, and Micro-services) preferred
- Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to all levels (e.g. executives, managers, individual contributors)
- Awareness of Kanban and Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines
- Ability to estimate work effort for configurations and ensure the project is successfully completed
