Campus Construction Job Description
Position Summary Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal. Shape metal, set up and operate soldering and welding equipment to join together sheet metal parts. Smooth seams, joints, or burred surfaces. Inspect assemblies for conformance with specification. Transport fabricated components to area of installation, assemblies, and installs. Set up ladders, scaffolding, and staging equipment to facilitate working at heights. Perform testing and balancing of HVAC systems using appropriate testing equipment (e.g. air flow meter). Clean, maintain, safely operate and properly store all tools and equipment. Observe and enforce all safety requirements related to equipment operation. May perform or assist in the preparation of cost estimates, material orders, reports and maintenance of records. Perform other duties as assigned. Shift
7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Minimum Qualifications
* A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
A valid driver's license which will allow the legal operation of a motor vehicle in the State of Missouri is required. Anticipated Hiring Range
