| Posting Summary |
This is an open rank, 12-month faculty position. The successful candidate will contribute to the education of students who will become mental health practitioners specializing in the rehabilitation of individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary instructor teaching undergraduate psychiatric rehabilitation students and contributing to the education of rehabilitation counseling students
- Develop curricula materials for on-campus and web-based courses
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on developing and implementing funding proposals related to the Department's educational and research agenda
- Pursue a scholarly agenda, contributing to presentations and peer reviewed publications
- Participate in professional association, community service and university service activities
- Understands and adheres to legacy UMDNJ's compliance standards as they appear in legacy UMDNJ's Corporate Compliance Policy and Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
- Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and legacy UMDNJ regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
Ph.D. in Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Counselor Education and Supervision or related doctoral level degree.
ABD candidates will be considered.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Higher education teaching experience (for recent graduates, this may be limited to graduate assistant activities and/or guest lectures) or significant experience providing training and technical assistance to mental health practitioners.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the provision of mental health services to individuals living with serious mental illness.
