What You'll Do:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist with food prep, room service, and restaurant service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and labeling in compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor food quality and freshness, reporting any concerns to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
- Support the training of new culinary team members as needed.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies during food preparation and service.
- May be required to work varying shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings to meet business needs.
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
Your Experience Includes:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, knife skills, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools.
- Basic computer skills and ability to follow digital recipes or prep lists.
