We look for people who have bold new ideas courage and a pioneering spirit to join forces to invent the future and have fun along the way. * Responsibilities* Designs develops implements verifies and tests algorithms and software and simulation tools to perform guidance navigation and control of aircraft spacecraft submersibles surface ships missiles launch vehicles and upper stages during powered and coast phases of launch flight earth orbit interplanetary cruise and orbital insertion as well as during staging events. Navigation functions include the statistical processing of measured data points and their substitution into algorithms simulating physical reality. Guidance functions include the formulation of specific equations to achieve a desired position orientation or orbit in space. Control design and analyses processes consist of the development of the control laws and hardware and software requirements for aircraft launch vehicles and/or spacecraft. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in a STEM Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and required years of experience for level 4 as follows: 9 years of related experience or a Masters degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of experience or a PhD and 4 years of experience. - Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application - Proficiency in MATLAB Simulink and C - Experience in flight trajectory simulation using multi-degree of freedom simulators - Design and implement Guidance and Autopilot algorithms Preferred Qualifications: Master's or PhD in Aerospace Aeronautical Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Experience with Real-Time Closed-Loop software testing on flight representative hardware *Experience Level* Expert Level *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
