Job Overview Seeking Structured Cabling Technicians with hands-on experience in copper and fiber installations. This role involves physical work, including ladder use, cabinet assembly, and cable routing. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, familiarity with telecom tools, and the ability to troubleshoot and document effectively. Responsibilities * Pull, terminate, label, and test Cat5, Cat6, coax, and fiber cables * Install cable pathways, racks, patch panels, cabinets, and support structures * Perform grounding per NECA/BICSI-607 standards * Troubleshoot cabling issues and provide solutions * Track tools/materials and submit daily status reports * Follow safety protocols and industry best practices * Communicate professionally with team members and clients Qualifications * Experience in structured cabling, telecom, or construction environments * Familiarity with wiring schemes, field terminations, and telecom hand tools * Ability to read blueprints and follow installation procedures * Strong communication and documentation skills * Professional demeanor when interfacing with customers Skills Cabling, Cat5, Cat6, Fiber, Cable Technician, Install, Troubleshoot, Patch Panels, Cabinets, Racks, Low Voltage, Punchdown, Structured Cabling Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
