We're looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Intern to join our Finance team and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable Intern will support the Finance team in daily accounting operations, with a focus on accounts payable processes, reporting, and data analysis. This role offers exposure to real-world financial systems and reporting tools used in automotive manufacturing and provides opportunities to learn about accounting workflows, compliance, and continuous improvement. Duration of internship will be from Fall 2025-Summer 2026

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Prepare and distribute daily and weekly financial reports.
  • Maintain productive and nonproductive receiving reports.
  • Support GRIR cleanup, blocked invoice resolution, and open PO maintenance.
  • Assist with month-end journal entries and reporting tasks.
  • Collaborate with finance team to ensure data accuracy.



REQUIRED SKILLS



  • Must be prepared to communicate and work in cross-functional environment
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS



  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. Sophomore level or higher preferred.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university program during the internship.
  • Availability to work 20 hours per week.
