Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Director of Global Talent plays a critical leadership role in shaping and executing talent strategies that enable organizational growth, innovation, and compliance in a fast-paced medical device environment. This individual will lead the design and delivery of global talent acquisition, global talent development, and workforce planning programs that attract, retain, and grow top-tier talent across the company. This hybrid role is based in Alpharetta and requires three days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Strategy & Leadership



  • Develop and lead a comprehensive global talent strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements of the medical device industry.
  • Partner with senior leadership and HR Business Partners to forecast talent needs and design scalable programs for talent acquisition, internal mobility, and succession planning.
  • Drive a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.



Talent Acquisition



  • Lead the global talent acquisition function, ensuring the recruitment of high-quality candidates in a competitive and specialized labor market.
  • Oversee employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the medical device space.
  • Implement metrics and analytics to measure hiring effectiveness and optimize recruitment processes.



Talent Development & Learning



  • Oversee the design and implementation of leadership development, career pathing, and high-potential programs.
  • Ensure continuous learning opportunities to support compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO), innovation, and employee engagement.
  • Champion a culture of feedback, coaching, and growth.



Diversity, Equity & Inclusion



  • Integrate Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies into all talent practices.
  • Support initiatives that foster a diverse pipeline and inclusive culture.



Workforce Planning & Organizational Design



  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations to lead workforce planning and talent analytics.
  • Support organizational design initiatives that improve scalability and operational efficiency.



Compliance & Regulatory Alignment



  • Ensure talent programs are compliant with relevant employment laws and medical device regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
  • Partner with Quality and Regulatory Affairs to align talent programs with industry standards.



Your qualifications

Required:




  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR or talent management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in leading talent acquisition and development in high-growth or complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of workforce compliance and regulatory environments (e.g., FDA, ISO).
  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Data-driven with experience using analytics to drive talent decisions.



Preferred:




  • Experience in the medical device, biotech, pharmaceutical, or regulated healthcare sector is highly preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent
  • Certifications in talent development or coaching (e.g., ATD, ICF) are a plus
