Introduction to the Job

As a Production Planner at ASML in Wilton, CT, you'll play a key role in delivering the world's most advanced lithography systems. These machines help produce faster, smaller, and more energy-efficient microchips-powering everything from smartphones to medical devices. Your work will directly support ASML's mission to push the boundaries of technology and enable groundbreaking innovation.

You'll be responsible for planning part of our factory operations to ensure timely shipment of complex systems. By solving logistical challenges and optimizing production schedules, you'll help us meet customer needs and business goals in the most efficient way possible.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Production Planner, you'll transform high-level production goals into actionable plans. You'll collaborate across teams to ensure materials, tools, and resources are aligned for smooth operations.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and adjusting production plans to meet delivery targets and optimize inventory levels.

  • Monitor material availability and escalate shortages to prevent delays.

  • Track production progress and provide updates to support monthly planning cycles.

  • Align facility and equipment capacity with production needs and drive timely decisions.

  • Optimize batch sizes and resource usage to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Adjust planning methods based on changing production environments and constraints.

  • Support engineering changes by securing logistics and ensuring smooth implementation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove roadblocks and improve processes.

  • Enter and manage planning data in ERP systems.

Education and Experience:To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in production planning or supply chain in a manufacturing setting.

  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • A track record of driving continuous improvement.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • APICS certification in planning or supply chain.

  • Experience with new product implementation and development.

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field

Other information

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role within the Factory:

Responsibilities: -Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. -The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. -Can work under deadlines. -The environment is generally moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level. -This must include references to day and night shifts for accommodation purposes.
