Unit Description:

4H is a 23 bed telemetry unit. This unit specializes in post-op CABG patients, post-op cardiac surgery, CHF and moderate risk chest pain patients. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is transferred from ICU, ED and PACU.

Shift: Part Time, Nights

Job Description:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member:

  • Provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures.

  • Performs routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education.

  • Must provide a letter from their school verifying the completion of their first year clinicals.

  • Basic Life Support- Applicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don't have it already.
