As a Security Officer - Access Control - Full Time in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence will help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at a chemical or petrochemical location, checking identification and verifying authorization for entrance and exit.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Assist in responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and client instructions.
• Conduct both regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Provide customer service by addressing questions or concerns from visitors, contractors, and employees as they relate to access and site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as outlined in site-specific protocols and Allied Universal policies.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents observed during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
